A Musical Mime Moment

I was looking for a Marcel Marceau moment to commemorate his passing but found this sweet duo. Hope you enjoy!

Seattle

Hey folks,

It's Sunday morning, I've been up since 7 reading. I'm getting a jump start on my semester of assignments. I spent 7 hours yesterday writing a three page paper. I will need to pick up the pace somehow, but even though it took most of the day, I really enjoyed the practice and creative effort of the writing.

I was warned about Seattle being gray. It has begun! In Maine, September and October can be so beautiful as the sun comes slanting in sideways in the late after noon. When the sun comes out here, I feel like "surfs up!" and I need to run outside and remake my acquaintance with the bright round thing.

So, I'm back at work and getting a glimpse of the road ahead. If I'm not as in touch, know that I'm working my butt off.

Love, love, love,

Louis

Zeitgeist - The Movie

Hey Friends,

If you get a chance, check out this online movie. It's some powerful food for thought. Instead of renting something from Hollywood, I recommend taking the time to watch Zeitgeist - The Movie. I love stuff that pokes at the truth, as relative as that is.

My Maine Family

My Maine visit was beyond wonderful. For three and half of the most beautiful weeks, I visited with my Maine family. Don and I biked the carriage trails on Mount Desert Island. Don, Randy and I (when not eating beautiful fruit salad) when to Funtown/Splashtown USA and had a blast.

My second week home found me at Dance New England which I easily say was one of the HIGHLIGHTS OF MY LIFE!!!! I had so many open hearted experiences. I fell in love with a community of people. I transcended reality through dance many, many times. I can't begin to realize the importance of my Dance New England experience. I will be there every year from now on!

My last few days brought me to Portland where I got to play with more of my wonderful friends. I am so blessed with friendship! Salon Louis was great fun with improvisational song and dance.

Truly, I am so thankful for my Maine family. If this whole grad school thing doesn't work out, I know I have a home where I will be warmly received and that makes all the difference.

Thank you! I love you all!

Love, love, love,

Louis
