At last! After 7 years!

When I first arrived back in Maine seven years ago now, a friend gave me this wild plant. It's called a Queen of the Night - Night Blooming Cereus. It blooms only once a year and the flower lasts only one evening. These plants were popular in the Victorian era. People would plan parties around the blossoms. Recently, we had the chance to create a very magical evening when Arrabella brought forth the performance of the year with this incredible flower.

Back to Dance Class!

Hey Dancers!

This picture of me and Shirley Lagerson is from my early dancing days at the Ellen Cooper School of Dance. I think I am around 8 in this pic. I love my little bow tie. Shirley Lagerson was my first dance partner and I thought that meant she was my girlfriend. She was a cutie.

Coming across this photo reminded me that it's time to think about getting back into the studio for some more dancing fun with my awesome students.

Starting September 12, 2006, I'll be teaching my same three classes each Tuesday at New Dance Studio, 61 Pleasant Street, in Portland. The only real difference is that my pre-teen class will be a little longer and my adult technique class will start a little later, but other than that, it's the same bat time and channel as last year.

From 3:30 - 4:45, pre-teens ages 9 - 12. $175 for the fall session.
From 5:15 - 6:45, modern technique for adults. $175 for the fall or $13.50 per class.
From 7:00 - 8:20, improv jam for adults, $8 per class.

Call me at (207)380-2690 or New Dance Studio at 780-0554 for more information.
